Addiction
I wouldn't call it addicted,
I just love the rush I get,
The feeling of it hastening through my veins,
And flowing through my blood,
How when I am with it,
For just half a second,
Everything that is bad in my world begins to disappear.
I wouldn't call it addicted,
I just can’t stay away,
I want it,
No,
I need it,
Just to make another day.
I wouldn't call it addicted
I just have it all the time
The thought never leaves my brain
It’s burnt into my mind
The taste, the sight, the feel, the sound
It takes away my pain
It keeps me from being crazy
But makes me seem insane
I guess its called addiction.
