Dawn Soap
Dawn soap green shoes frolicking on the feet of an endearing girl
Dancing through a yellow cornfield
Skipping with the sun
Heating her face, releasing screams of laughter
Finally stopping, the world moving quickly around
As she exerts her anguish pushing air from fragile lungs
Dropping, falling hard on her bones
Overwhelmed with the beauty of the world not found in her sould
Lost from her once so good life
Glassy eyes welling, filling with her tears
Waiting, waiting for someone to come pick up her pieces
Dry her damaged eyes
And take her back
To the beautiful world she once knew,
To start over again.
