Pushing Her Blankie to the Side
Pushing her blankie to the side,
She could see it had something to hide,
Stepping too close,
The floor broke.
Her body stayed the same,
As the memories began to fade;
Her face began to grow red,
As frustration took over her head;
She made sure it insolvent.
The blood that ran through her veins,
Was suddenly speared all over her face;
Nothing would ever be the same,
As for it was too late;
Dropping to the floor,
She realized she couldn't handle it anymore.
Tried to push all feelings aside,
But instead managed to go into overdrive;
Thoughts froze in her mind,
As the world seemed to die.
