Staring at the sky
There’s angles in the snow
Wishing she could fly high
Above the world below
Pouring over magazines
She soaks up every page
Each picture like a daydream
She never wants to fade
All she wants is to be love
Sitting on the stairs
Watching the doves
With yellow ribbons in her hair
Rocking in a chair, looking out the window seal
Butterflies and broken roller-skates
Rocking in a chair waiting to heal
As her dream slowly fades
