Dodge Ball
The projectiles fly, bullets through the air
Bouncing off of bodies.
Kids and chaos.
Claustrophobia and discomfort.
Eyes darting.
Anxiety, not wanting to be the next victim.
Mourning for lost companions.
The brave ones journey to the front line.
Failed attack, frustrated.
The bell rings at last,
Time to leave gym class.
