Disappointment
Disappointment is my twin sister.
She fails the ones that she loves.
She is the bitter pill that will not wash down your throat,
no matter how much water you drink.
She struggles to accomplish what is expected,
But somehow never quite makes the cut. Silent whimpers sing through the willow forcing her to breathe in the misfortune.
She is that promise that is broken,
And never forgiven.
