Obsession
You get lost in those big black eyes
Deep, as the endless depths of the oceans
Their sadness compels you to fall into their darkness
And you know the journey back is a hard one
Resist falling into those dark eyes
Dark, as the invisible things, visible to the mind only
But to the sight, they are dark
Dark as the uncertain,
The inconceivable
The unseen bitterness that is witnessed
Only in the outlet of one’s insight
But when they smile
You fall into their happiness
And to relieve yourself from such a paradise,
For you know the time on this island is limited,
Would be to eliminate all reason for seeing, and with it, all reason for living
