Untitled
Her poems are all gone
Her patience obsolete
But it's her mighty spirit
That keeps her on her feet.
She's seen the world naked
Barren, bare and true
She thought she couldn't write anymore
But inspiration grew and grew
She said don't let one tear slip
Don't let this moment fly
Keep your hope alive and survive
But don't keep the pain inside
Ya her poems might be gone
And her patience obsolete
But it's that sturdy spirit
That life can't seem to beat
