Spin, Time, Rhythm, and Rain
I sit and write by the light that comes through my window pane.
I lay and I watch the hands of the clock go round and round to the rhythm of the rain that I see with the light coming in through my window pane.
My mind begins to spin and my heart begins to pace, all keeping time with the rhythm of the rain that I see with the light coming through my window pane.
The room begins to settle and my mind slows the spin, but my heart is still at race with the clock to keep pace with the rhythm of the rain that I see with the light coming through my window pane.
I look, I stare, I try to see, but everything is still spinning around me.
The room feels cold so I fold myself into a bundle and try to stop the spinning and the beating rhythms of my world.
But I cant, I know I wont win, so I lay flat on my back and watch my world spin.
I let my mind spin and I feel my heart race with the hands of the clock to the rhythm of the rain that I see with the light coming through my window pane.
