I Am From
I am from South Plainfield.
From two parents, my mom and dad.
I am from a nice house on a corner of a quiet street to a big house on a main road.
From teletubbies and big stuffed animals.
From hide and go seek at grandmas to sophisocated conversations.
I am from mommy and me to South Plainfield high school.
From big pencils and a lot of erase marks.
From a few pennies to 20 dollar bills.
I am from long braids to a short up-do.
From fake computers to high tech cell phones.
From simple addition and subtraction to difficult algebra 1.
From Children’s wear clothes to Abercrombie and Hollister.
I am from spelling bee’s to essay contests.
From goodnight stories and little kid songs.
I am from dance to cheerleading.
From Grant to the Middle School to the High School.
I am from a Dell computer to a Mac.
From learning the alphabet to learning equations.
I am from a flip phone to a smart phone.
From two little brothers, a cat and a dog.
From half day kindergarten to full day school.
I am from my family.
