Grandma's Prayer

Quiet my darling as you nestle in bed.
I've got you in my arms, so rest your head.
May warmth and sweetness comfort your dreams,
as you float around in the moonlight's beams.
No intruding sounds should you hear,
so rest peacefully, rest happily, rest now my dear,
and if any fear or nightmare should you make
U'll be here with you until you wake.
