Everybody At War
Its been several years and the U.S. is still at war
And nobody even knows what for
Guns are fired and more troops die
And each day another child starts to cry
Teens are in a war as well
But adults are so busy they can hardly tell
We’re in a competition for just about everything
Its all about who has money and the best clothing
Animals are in a war each day
Everybody is a predator searching for prey
So many species out there in the forest
Which often gets invaded by curious tourists
So regardless of who you are and what your situation may be
There’s a lot that goes on in the world that may seem impossible to see
There’s a lot of things in life that can be learned
So but yourself in someone else’ s shoes and that’s when the tables are turned
