I see a sky,
brilliant and blue.
These are the eyes
that belong to you.
Your hair is so red,
as if on fire.
It warms up my heart,
and fills me with desire.
Your hands are so rough,
but warm all the same;
A rose is till a rose
by any other name.
A name, ah!
What a beautiful name.
Your name is one
that makes the birds sing.
Thomas, oh Thomas,
what a chivalrous lad.
You always cheer me up
when I am sad.
