The Ugly Side
No matter how much eye shadow
Or blush on her cheekbones
Not even firmly put on lipstick
The powder so thick
But it’s only on a mask
Hiding a little girl’s face of broken time and broken past
Crying as she takes all that make-up off
Locks herself in her room so no one will see
The ugly side of her fake beauty
Till morrow break
She stays awake
So the only true face that see her is the sun
