Can't Make Up for Lost Time
The first one who kept my heart beating has now gone.
The first one who made me smile has now vanished.
The first one who made me laugh has now departed.
A life that once was filled with contentment, glee, and bliss.
Is currently filled with abhorrence, hate, and detest.
What makes it real?
Something that is missing, nothing I can feel.
Cutting and slahing, seeing the blood.
Inch by Inch heading for a gun.
Look now momma, death has won.
12 feet under, your feeling sad.
Wishing you could make up for lost time,
Being the mother I once had.
