The time you study for your school final exam
We cheered you through the last question
Boys and Girls stood cheering by
And home we brought you shoulder-high
Today the road is all clear
Shoulder high we bring you home
And set you at your sweet triumph
School boy of a stellar school
Smart lad, to slide by time away
From a test where glory does not last
Who sees through the laurel crown
that it withers faster than a rose
Now you will not spread the ink
Of lads who wore their honors out
Students whom renown outpost
Will be brought back to you.
