Renewed Hope
You wear a smile for disguise
As you bury your hurt with lies
You hold your barrier strong
Not wanting anything else to go wrong
You hear you’re a waste of their time
They say you’re less than a dime
Each day you’re barely surviving
Overwhelmed with grief and misunderstanding
Your turn to physical pain
Though it leave you with nothing to gain
Wondering if this is reality
You’re left with uncertainty
Are you really a fool?
Is this world that cruel?
You slip away from the world view
Lose trust in those dear to you
Feeling more alone than ever before
You look at the sunset one more
You begin to shed a tear pondering if life is meant to end here
I have hope for you now
You will pull through somehow
I’m here to shed some light
Help you cope and make things right
Start with overcoming today
Yesterday was a minor setback
No need to dwell on the past
Face your fears and move on fast
Last don’t forget this
Pains not an option but misery is
