It amazes me,
what people go through,
when some one needs help,
no one knows what to do,

Divorces,deaths,
or hearts that are broken,
these things are so common, that they're left unspoken,

But what about neglect,
abuse or starvation,
there is less of that,
and its noticed by the nation,

I realize they're worse then the ones that i say,
but most kids with those problems,
want to die or run away,

I know what it's like,
I've been in their shoes,
i was dealing with so much,
seemed like the best thing to do,

Some say they wan to help,
then they go waste all their money,
and to some the thought of cutting,
as a coping skill is funny,

People give us label's,
such as emo goth or freak,
finding our real friends,
is like a game of hide & seak,

Now you see it now you don't,
that's how everything is,
friends and love will come and go,
but remember we're just kids,

You can give second chances,
and i know its very hard,
sometimes the one we love the most,
is the one to leave us scared,

So its amazing what we go through,
and sometimes we feel alone,
please try hard and don't forget,
there's always love at home,
