An Empty Chair
I look across and laugh at stare,
looking at you from 'your' so called chair.
I never sat on that chair,
do you think I'd dare?
We gossip and talk and have lots of fun.
Until reality strikes,
and I remember you're no longer here,
I look up at the stars,
and am glad that I still remember.
But when I look across over there,
realise it's just another empty chair.
