Shyness Dictates
Like a rabbit afraid it'll be seen as prey
-sitting perfectly still,
struggling to say what I need to say.
Ironically my mind tries to be the shoulder to cry on in situations like these
-when no one even attempts to be comforting.
Most likely because no eyes can see the cap of this bottled up feeling popping off
-now leaking out of me,
resulting in clammy hands and panicking.
But still no one sees,
everyone's doing their own thing.
So I begin daydreaming to a place I'd rather be,
While silently hoping
-someday, somehow to find a happy ending waiting paitiently
-running up to greet me with open arms
(a gesture of caring.)
