Faces
This silence, it won't last.
The wind will carry those fragile words to your ears.
And the earth will shake with every heartbeat.
The heat of our hands held tightly together, will linger.
And our lungs will collapse with the growing distance.
Somewhere within the space between our bodies, lay our supposed goodbyes.
But I know this silence won't last.
We both looked back.
