Being a teen can sometimes be tough
But you have to get through the hard times no matter how rough
There’s drama, breakups, breakouts, and more
You feel as if you can’t escape the horror

Trying to fit in with the “cool clique”
There are so many responsibilities and choices now, it’s so hard to pick
Love, pain, heartbreaks, and stride
You sometimes feel as if you want to go under you bed and hide

But with all this comes the blissful stuff too,
Parties, dates, and making friends that are true
All the small, unimportant problems that we face
Are the things that make us a stronger human race
