mystery girl

that girl
the one sitting
by the window
she doesn't speak
she just stares out
the window
she watches the birds
and the cars as they pass
when she looks up
her sad eyes
showed wisdom
beyond her years
I wonder what
makes her like this
quiet
alone
sad
though
when i crack a joke
I see her smile to
herself
I wonder...

I love the line "showed wisdom/beyond her years"; other than that, it was a very straightforward poem, which, to me isn't necessarily a bad thing due to your great use of imagery and imagination. Nice!!!!
