"Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul - and sings the tunes without the words - and never stops at all." - Emily Dickinson

I was invited by my old friend, Rod Usher,
To see to his house and dying sister.
And what a surprise I had at the house
To see it could be torn down by a mouse!

My old friend Usher, I am afraid to say,
Was not much better as he swayed and swayed.
His mind was whack and oft' needed a shake;
I began to fear for my one own sake!

Of course, no help came when his sister died.
We placed her in the dungeon, while she smiled.
There I stayed, Rod Usher and I
While his buried sister's screams have soon died.

And then the storm came as it always must;
Hiding away the moaning of the curs't.
Alive was she that cold and dreary night.
To set the bargain with her one twin right.

She killed poor Usher in my very room.
She proceeded to die with, in the gloom.

As I ran madly in such a dear fright.
The house swallowed up with all of it's might.
Not a scar remains on this fragile ground
All was taken down and down.

Just simply a parody of "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Edgar Allen Poe.
