&quot; There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.&quot;<br /> -Ernest Hemingway

How is it that I find myself
Day after day
Reaching out to touch you
To hold you in my hand

You allow me to express
Everything
Create…anything

I cannot keep my hands
Off of you
It’s a need I cannot deny

Until the day
You’re all used up

Until the day
You’re ink runs dry

Oh my little pen
You’re the apple of my eye.

Being a writer myself, I completely love this poem! It's so true--great job!
