tick tock goes the clock
I felt it
the fiery grip of death
threatening to crush
my soul
I lay there
with fear in my heart
for what seemed like days
I saw a light
and blurred movements around me
but I knew they were to late
I felt the warm sticky blood
pooling from my chest
they were too late
too late
too late
I felt the hand grip tighter
and started to pull me away
I felt wind through my hair
I heart a ticking
maybe it was my heart
tick, tock tick, tock
it slowed
tick....tock....tick.......t..o..c...k
then the sound of wings
but all was black
I couldn't see anything
but all I could think was
they have come for
me the angels
they have!
Then I saw one
I knew it from somewhere
"come back to us, come along. it isn't time yet."
I followed it, being it was the only thing i saw
then I saw a light
just a few yards away
the angel pointed at it
and turned away
I walked to the light
and heard the clock again
t...i..c...k.......to..ck.....tick.....tock
tick, tock, tick, tock!
then I was blinded by a harsh light
I looked around
people were smiling over me
I wasn't dead
the angel brought me back
I looked around
and he was standing just a few feet from me
smiling I nodded at him
he gave the glint of knowing in his eye
then he was gone
