A lair's first name
I put my shoes on and walked for hours on memory lane,
Everyone stopped and proceeded to tell me I'm insane,
But I'm quite certain that I'm not anything of the sort,
so I took their judgements, and out of them, i built myself a fort,
I hid inside with schematics and blueprints for the future,
And pictures, of the girl, because I thought I once knew her,
No matter, I'm safe, here in this lonely place,
With a lighter, hosting flame, held to the burning face,
It's almost as if the pictures have spoken to me,
Saying its your denial, that has become your worst enemy,
Denial that love is dangerous? For me and for the girl?
I spoke back to the picture with a flames that licked and curled,
My testimony to the vibrantly red yellow blue flame,
Is that I have been branded, with lair's first name.
