Enochlophobia with a Hint of Nephophobia

I remember way back when,
when you and I, were best friends.
Not a day would go by,
that I wouldn't see you.
I especially enjoyed the day we sat in the park,
all day through.

It has been days, since I gave you a rang.
And these days are turning to weeks,
And if you weren't so far away,
I'd bring you home.
Maybe I'm down because I'm alone.

I remember the time we shared,
and when I was downstairs,
talking to you on the phone at night,
how I felt so right,
And the only thing stopping us,
was your battery dieing.

I'm glad I can't forget you face,
if I did, I'd feel out of place.
A town away, a state away,
no matter how far, you are,
in my heart you'll always stay.

And I remember the walk we took,
it lasted forever, or least as long as it could.
I'm not one for stamina,
but you kept me going.
And I keep a heart that belongs to you,
but that's a fact you're not knowing.

So I'll miss, miss the walks, and the talks.
And I'll envy, envy the pillow you lie your head on,
and the book you wrap your hands around.
I'm glad I can't forget you face,
and no matter how far, you are,
in my heart you'll always stay.
