No Soliciting
If ever there was a more pernicious silence,
Then that of a beaten heart.
The simple joys always being weighted.
One instant in constant replay.
Disgusted anguish always tagging along,
Disabling simplicity.
The mask is intricate,
Becoming one with the skin.
Even in the safest places,
We are never alone.
Memories like multiple personalities,
Not even these emotions are my own.
No one notices the stone in my eyes.
To let someone in,
Absolute Blasphemy.
The Pain my God,
The Silence my Prayers.
None could understand,
Trust is only a joke.
Laughter not chaperoned,
Patrons not caring to be considerate.
The darkness I am clouded in,
Is the only thing i know.
These walls are my home.
There are no doors,
Only barred windows.
