We're walking across the stage,
Taking the diplomas confidently,
As if they hold the keys to the world.
We're no loner allowed to be children.
They're setting us free,
Releasing us into our futures,
Giving us our wings,
And praying we don't fall.
We set out.
Searching for the clues,
To a mystery we havent yet begun to solve.
Digging for the answers,
To the questions swimming in our eyes.
The secrets to life.
