In my Dream I Was a Boat
In my dream I was a boat
drifting blindly on harsh seas.
The captain roars above the storm,
"hard to starboard lies the port."
The crew can row, but the undertow pulls me further out.
Rocking always rocking on the dark blue waves;
Never, ever, ever stopping rocking on the waves.
Now the crew lies dead upon my deck and it is only me,
alone forever drifting upon the barren sea.
