Seventeen Stories
They walked up seventeen stories in seventeen minutes. Racing through the pages, up and up to nowhere. Going through Seuss through Poe and others yet to be discovered. Seventeen minutes so far, seventeen stories down. The pages that were passed, made up fr by what lie ahead. A story a minute, a minute a story. Some stories were simple and easily passed in their minute, others took more time to comprehend, though none was longer than another, and some would never be understood, for no matter how many minutes you have to get through as many stories, there are some things that can never be known.
