Lifeless
Sitting in a class
With nothing but time
Hoping it will pass
It’s not worth a dime
Wanting to stay
Wanting to go
People tell her “hey”
But yet call her a “hoe”
They don’t know what she goes through
Because it’s more than she can handle
She don’t know now what to do
Next thing they hear is gun shot
Them not knowing
The girl they told “hey”
Is no longer showing
She made her choice not to stay
All they say now is “sure”
Just another high school girl
When they were told it was her.
Pretty as a pearl
The one who use to get blamed
Blamed for everything
They didn’t really even know her name
She’s no longer in pain.
Just wanted time to pass
Now, all she is… is Lifeless
