Changes
The winter air
Is taking every last breath
The chill you shot down my spine
Doesn’t come close to this
The snow is falling
Down onto the ground
And I’m still here waiting
Can’t hear a sound
When two hearts stop beating
And hands get too cold to hold
When feelings leave and love is lost
New love comes at a cost
There isn’t much for me to say
The suns gone for another day
Summer crushes turn to grey
Every autumn day
I still think back to you
When the sky’s the darkest shade of blue
I hear your voice
Whispering in the winds of change
The way they took my breath away
When two hearts stop beating
And hands get too cold to hold
When feelings leave and love is lost
New love comes at a cost
There isn’t much for me to say
The suns gone for another day
Deadly winter
Rising to fall
Stunning summer
Were you there at all
Heartbreak autumn
Am I talking to myself
Break down springtime
You said you’d love me
What happened to that
Now you leave me in the pouring rain
Still broken, still in pain
Those are all the seasons
Where you broke my heart
I don’t know when ill be over you
I just didn’t think it was true
