Droids
She
Never
Existed
Beyond the scope
Of our twisted minds.
Yet she represented
That innocent youthfulness-
The kind that they suck from your bones,
Hang out to dry, and display for all
To remember the dreams she left behind.
Gray clouds swallowed the opaque horizon.
We stood before her desecration,
Longing to obtain her fluid,
Untouchable perfection-
Morbid fascination
That we pulled apart
With bare fingers.
The masses
Drank her
Soul.
