Anger
Anger consumes all
We try to hold back
Remember the times
We rose just to fall.
Memories remain, the day you said goodbye
Raging loud voices bring a tear to the eye
This flame stays inside of me
Still in my mind, your face burns a picture
Black holes fill my heart with grief
Your soul disappears into darkness
Your eyes crimson colored.
You see, anger consumes all
We try to hold back
Remember the times
We rose just to fall
This is the struggle, that is eternal
As I write in this journal
Purging this from my mind, body, and soul
Creeping my way out of this deep, dark hole
The chains that held me down are broken.
I am free.
Free to finally roam this damaged world.
Being wrapped in your arms, I felt like a slave
Someone please come save me, save me from this place.
Anger consumes all
We try to hold back
Remember the times
We rose just to fall.
