When the world lays still
When the world lays still
I notice that the grass is a jungle
The ants
The aphens
The bees
searching flower to flower
for honey
are animals in the wild
The wind is a storm
And the sweet, pink cherrie blossoms
that fall from the trees
are magical castles for royalty
The sun is hope
Hope for a beautiful day
And there is me...
Lying in the shadows
amongst the jungle
waiting on a butterfly
to fly me away
Now I feel so much smaller
in a world meant to be so big.
