He told me to enjoy the play
On overrated national love day
With a smile I said I would
I turned to the stage
The lights dimmed
(as the blush staining my cheeks did not)
I could see his knees
If I turned my head
Ever so slightly
And I discovered
His presence sped
The beat of my heart
Lovely thoughts ran
Through my mind
He told me to enjoy the play
On celebrated national love day
