Waking up everyday, even when we don't want to
Doing all the things we wouldn't want to do
But seeing the faces and familiar places
It brings smiles to our beautiful faces
Let all of the drama go
And don't bring yourself down
To become what you would call a foe
I have to do the same thing when I wake up and go to school
But hey, I only do it because I don't want to be a fool
I learn to better myself
And I better myself to learn
If I want to get somewhere in life
I have to live with all the strife
But I wake up early in the morning
Just to see the smile on my mother's face
That's how I know I'm going in the right place
So get up and go to school
Because if I were you........
