eternity
could never be enough
with anyone
loves like preserved
artifacts of the purer, older times
should be frozen at that moment
the accidentally anticipated
meeting of eyes
hold back wind and change
hold back the world with
its years and hours
let the blessed lie
forgotten, adorned
allow them the peace
of a moment’s contentment
stretched upon the
infinite abyss
of supposedly finite lengths
where time has not stopped
but simply lies suspended
