If
If I cried for help,
would you help me?
If I screamed at you to get away and hit you,
would you stay?
If I wanted drugs,
would you stop me?
If I killed someone,
would you give me advice?
Whether you said yes or no to either of these,
neither of us has any right to deny or do some of these things.
If you were a friend,
you'd help me through it all,
because I'd help you through it.
Friendship is sacred, true, powerful,
but you can destroy it in one day.
If you'd help me in any crisis,
why not be my friend,
and save my life?
