Best Friend
She’s my best friend.
The only one who brings out the sun,
when my world is filled with darkness.
When my heart starts to ache,
and my soul has a drought,
She is the one who calls for the rain clouds.
She’s my best friend.
If she cries I cry,
and when she laughs I can’t help but do it too.
One fight is all we’ve ever had because we can’t stay mad.
Some turned their back on me,
but she always stays here for me
She’s my best friend.
I’m her diary and she is mine.
These diaries are locked by our friendship.
The keys will be buried with us.
Don’t think you can find out my secrets or hers,
because our bond is as thick as wed cement and as strong as dry concrete.
She’s my best friend.
The one who brings out the sun,
when my world is filled with darkness.
When my heart starts to get chapped and cracked,
she brings the carmex
and puts it back together.
SHE’S MY BEST FRIEND!
