They Thought They Were DIfferent
They thought they were different.
But they were the same.
They thought they hated each other.
But they found out they were wrong.
They took each other’s hands.
They ran together, knowing.
They knew they were the same.
And it was okay to be different.
Side by side, running, they laughed.
Wanting to stay young forever.
Wanting to stay together forever.
It didn’t have to be perfect.
It didn’t have to be easy.
It just had to work.
As long as they were together.
Everything would work out fine.
