Where I'm From
I am from the dust hospital room
To the dirt and warmth of the mud
I am from the bright blue sky
To the singing Birds above
I am from the rust old plowers
and the cracking tree bark
Following the path of piece
I'm from the corn beef and cabbage
To the fried potatoes with mac and cheese
From sipping in a baby cup
To filling up the glass mug
Crawling in the baby crib
Pulling out the big girl bed
Singing tell-a-tubby tunes
All the way from Tim buck two
I'm from the gagging of greens
Forced into my mouth
To the everlasting taste of sour milk
Chasing after chickens
Back and forth
Peaking peaking peaking at my tinny stubs
