You're with me when I laugh
And also when I weep
When I need someone at whom I can yell
You sit there and listen and take it in well
A friend like you is one I love
You're like the perfect gift
Sent to me from up above
When someone you know is feeling down
You create a smile from their frown
A friend like you is one I've got
You know when I'm angry
And you know when I'm not
What would life be like without you?
I hope that's something I'll never go through
