Sweat Dripping on Foreign Land
Sweat dripping on foreign land
The sight has struck me still
It is not my blood on my hands
Another lost soul killed
Green and brown is all the lies
A sleep of no return
Smoke has filled the pale sky
While all of the buildings burn
Taking trust in metal
Will innocence come back?
Silence is broken once again
The horizons fade to black
Choking on my heavy pride
While lusting for revenge
Yet a desire to disappear
From this fight that won’t find an end
These lands filled with questions
This deafening sound is their reply
As the trigger is pulled once again
The reflection of death, in bloodshot eyes
