Nothing Seems Right
I stare out my window
Watching the rain fall
I sit on my floor
Staring at the hole in the wall
I touch my hand to my cheek
Wet with newly released tears
I wipe them from my eyes
Trying to hide away from my fears
I can not allow myself to cry
Crying means you are weak
So I stand by and watch the disaster
Because I am unable to speak
The yells around me grow louder
I know that they are wrong
The eyes around me continue to stare
I know I have to be strong
So I wait until nighttime falls
When I can see the moon
Then I let the tears spill out
They will not end anytime soon
Throughout the days that I live
My feelings hide from my heart
But by the cover of the night
I completely fall apart
