Autumn
As the summer ends,
The leaves change colors,
As our hearts are filled,
With melancholy and reflection.
Brilliant colors fill our eyes,
Orange and red,
Vibrant and vivid,
Beautiful yet sad.
Autumn reminds us,
Of our long missed friends,
Or our fond memories,
Of times long past.
Like a sunset,
Autumn is striking and bold,
Yet it stirs our hearts,
And fills them with sadness.
Ending the cheerful summer,
And inviting the callous winter,
Yet so breathtaking and passionate,
That is what autumn is.
