Tired of Pretend
I’m so tired of pretending
To be the person that I’m not
But that I wish I could be.
This person has everything
That they could ever dream of
Except they don’t know what they got.
Even though I act as though
No one is there, I feel so alone
And I don’t know what to do anymore.
Nothing is making sense
That’s why I’m always pretending
To be everything that I’m not.
