The Crimson Veil
I'm trying to find a reason
but they all seem so fleeting.
Like my heart, a beat so cold.
Please stop the word from forming.
One...so,
I feel so collapsed.
Two...eh,
I can't breathe anymore.
Three...sigh,
a last symbolic bit of freshness
Four...duh.
The door cracks as I fall in the sheets.
I cover my face in this crimson veil.
Feel a hand grab my arm, and another at my neck.
And then no more.
I feel let go...
Alone...
Drifting...
So-eh-sigh-duh.
